Set in an inspiring environment, we are proud to be a school where children are encouraged to thrive, flourish and strive for excellence in all that they do. Our ethos is rooted in a strong sense of care, community and high expectation, with values including love, faith, joy, hope, peace, trust, respect and integrity underpinning school life.
We are proud of our nurturing culture, our dedicated staff and our commitment to helping every child grow in confidence, character and achievement. Highwood Copse is a school where positive relationships matter, where pupils are supported to rise to the challenges and opportunities of future life, and where learning is enriched by an ambitious curriculum and a strong sense of belonging. As part of Thames Learning Trust since 1 July 2023, we benefit from valuable collaboration with a family of similarly ambitious schools and from a shared commitment to continuous improvement.
We are delighted that our first full Ofsted inspection, published on 21 November 2023 following inspection on 3 and 4 October 2023, judged the school to be Good overall, with Outstanding judgements for behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and early years provision.
